About Me

Aaron KaufmanHello everyone. My name is Aaron Kaufman, and I recently graduated from Kent State University with degrees in public relations and political science. I am from Burke, Va., which is a suburb of Washington, D.C., so I am keenly focused on public relations in the context of politics. I hope to soon pursue a masters in public policy.

Politics has always been an integral part of my life. My father was a government employee for more than 30  years, working for both the FTC and CIA. I worked for the government as an intern for roughly six months before resuming my education.

While I definitely have a political leaning (I’ll leave it to you to decipher which side of the isle  I’m on from the context of my blog), I am open to all arguments; and respect anyone willing to share his or her opinions.

This blog aims to identify issues in politics pertinent to public relations. My goal is to identify these issues, and offer my perspective on them in hopes of generating a lively debate. Please feel free to comment on the blog topics, even if your views differ from my own. I subscribe to Confucian ideals: Treat me with respect, and I’ll treat you with the same.

Hi Aaron! This is outstanding… Even Big Julie would be proud & intrigued!

  2. Great work my friend, found your blog via an article from David Meerman Scott.

I’m currently looking for a social media graduate in the UK

    Do you know anyone?

  3. Thanks Paul. Appreciate the kind words. Unfortunately, my social networks do not extend into the UK, so I don’t think I can be of much help. I’ll keep an eye out for you though.
